At Vilares Resort, we are making new improvements to the house to transform part of the space into a small meeting point for Internet friends, developers, creators, digital nomads, and people who want to share knowledge and turn ideas into real projects.
The idea is simple: to provide a quiet place where you can stay for a few days, work with a computer, connect to the Internet, code, develop projects, experiment with Linux and Open Source, create digital content, or simply sit down with other people to exchange knowledge and new ideas.
🖥️ A Home Also Designed for Creating
We are reorganizing different areas of the house to combine comfortable living with technology and working spaces.
We currently have a Coworking / Development Room, equipped with several computer workstations, monitors, keyboards, Linux systems, and space where visitors can connect their own laptops or equipment.
There is also a common area with a sofa, table and multimedia equipment — a place to relax, talk, play games, listen to music, watch something together, or simply continue a conversation away from the computer.
And of course, every stay needs somewhere to rest. We are preparing a simple bedroom for short stays, especially for people who would like to spend a few days sharing this experience.
🌐 From the Internet to the Real World
Vilares Resort is also based on an idea that many of us have experienced for years online: behind every nickname, server, chat room or Open Source project, there are real people capable of building things together.
The space is especially intended for people who are already part of — or gradually becoming part of — the social and online circle around Albert Korman / Zcom and the different communities and projects connected to it.
But that does not mean it is a closed circle.
Everyone can be welcome.
Before arranging a stay, we would first like to get to know each other. We can start through chat, IRC, Vox, voice calls or video calls, share our interests and talk about what we would like to create or work on.
The idea is not simply to arrive, use a room and leave.
We want there to be communication, trust and some common interest or idea to share beforehand.

It could be the beginning of something completely new or the continuation of an existing project.
Linux, programming, servers, Artificial Intelligence, video games, WebGL/3D, multimedia, streaming, music, design, networking, automation, Open Source projects… or simply an idea that currently exists as only a few lines of text.
You don’t need to arrive with a huge finished project.
Sometimes the most interesting part is simply sitting together in front of a screen and saying:
“I have an idea. How can we make it real?”
That is the spirit we want to develop at Vilares Resort:
